Ways to Stop and Start for SQL server

Step1. Just go to the run and type : services.msc
And choose the sql server instance from the list and right click -->Stop or Restart.
2. Go to the Start button --> All Programs-->Microsoft SQL server 2008R2-->Configuration Tools--> SQL server configuration manager
3. NET START MSSQLSERVER
This command will be get executed only through command prompt. So you have go to the run and type cmd then write a above command in order to restart or stop sql server
4. Connect to SQL server VIA SSMS , then right click on the instance and do it(Restart or Stop)
